- Contains video footage of the actual digitization process from "fresh" cadaver imaging to the milling procedure to the color photography of body cross-sections. Interviews with the principal investigators are also included.
- Allows interactive sectioning of both the male and female cadavers. Reformatted lower-resolution images of axial, coronal, and sagittal cross-sections are included. These sections are not labelled.
- Includes an incredible system to rotate reconstructed anatomy in 3D. This interface is functionally equivalent to QuickTime VR's object manipulation method.
- Digital Humans CD-ROM also allows stereoscopic viewing through the use of 3D glasses. The 3D models with semi-transparent skin are truly 3D in appearance using this novel technology.
