Overview eDscape is both a free and a subscription-based service. We are providing a continually expanding collection of instructional content for students, as well as professional development for teachers. These include Internet-relevant projects and activities, all matched to national learning standards with lesson parts and assessment rubrics, as well as correlations to other instructional materials from Simon & Schuster companies. Current eDscape partners include some of the most trusted names in education: Computer Curriculum Corporation (CCC), Educational Management Group (EMG), Globe Fearon, Modern Curriculum, Prentice Hall, and Silver Burdett Ginn. On your first visit to eDscape, you may want to visit the Teacher's Page for a quick overview of eDscape resources, then just click the 'link' for a closer look. Or go right to the interactive Program Guide to dive into your area of interest. Most resources require either registration (free!) or subscription, so why not take this opportunity to register. User navigation is located at the upper right of all eDscape screens, putting you one step away from all locations. Check Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for help, or e-mail our Webmentor with more specific or inscrutable questions. We're growing fast, so check back often for the latest additions. |
